Buildings come in all shapes and sizes, some ancient and historic through to new builds. All present challenges that engineers and architects face surround their efforts to understand a building, such as how they are actually built, or how extensive a problem is. Our miniature inspection instruments allow us to look into these structures with minimal additional damage so that knowledge is gained.
Our technicians use a number of different UAV's to carry out surveys of many building structures such as warehouse roofs, power station buildings tall structures such as flares, masts, chimneys, tower blocks. Our teams can also deploy units designed for inside confined spaces, so we can fly around confined spaces or inside chimneys.
Not putting people at risk of harm by having to enter confined spaces is a key driver of the expertise and experience of Inspectahire. Practically all of our technology is used to enable engineers and surveyors to see into confined spaces safely.
We have carried out many different roof surveys - from the oldest in situ cast concrete roof in the world in Edinburgh, through to massive distribution warehouse roofs. We can deploy a wide range of CCTV's for checking the drainage and downpipes through to conducting thermal camera surveys to check for moisture saturation - such surveys have often been done by one of our drones which is useful for getting an overall perspective.
Thermal cameras provide an ideal method for checking the installation of underfloor heating systems, both to ensure they cover the area expected by the client but also where failures have occured. Non invasive, our technicians can use the IR cameras to scan the floor areas and highlight where the anomolies are occuring.
Inspectahire understand why clients may not want a fire water tank drained for the internal inspection process. That is why we provide full ROV surveys, using high-spec submersible digital camera equipment, UT and sonar, which can either be depolyed seperately or by ROV.
Sprinkler System Pipework Inspections is a specialist service carried out by Inspectahire across the UK. API 570 covers the inspection, rating, repair, and alteration procedures for metallic and FRP piping systems and their associated pressure relieving devices that have been in-service.
Ultrasonic Testing is an NDT Service provided by Inspectahire across the UK. Ultrasonic Testing enables asset managers to get a better understanding of remaining material thickness of elements of the structural fabric and can be complimented by other techniques such as PMI to identify what metals have been used and is this as designed.
