Keeping production facilities operating efficiently is a fundamental driver for all owners of such sites, and our range of NDE services such as Thermography and Gas emission surveys, mean that plants can be monitored whilst remaining in operation. When outages are planned, our teams can then support invasive investigations.
Like tank inspections, we have the capability to inspect vessels both off and on line. Often the decision on how the inspection is performed comes down to working with our clients to understand the product or process being undertaken and then deciding what is viable inspection method.
Inspecting kilns presents many challenges, as they operate at extreme temperatures and/or they contain moving materials and parts. Non-invasive surveys by thermography can highlight to engineers where refractory lining is failing.
Condensers and heat exchangers are widely used in the food and drink industry and our Eddy Current and IRIS inspections can be used to detect flaws or measure material thickness of the tubes. Such surveys allow the managers to plan for replacement before failure and the inevitable disruption that would cause.
Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) is industry accepted NDT inspection technique, which is an ideal tools for detecting corrosion under insulation (CUI) and fireproofing (CUF). Advanced eddy current inspection technology can help detect hidden corrosion before it becomes a potentially expensive and hazardous problem. Inspectahire utilizes Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) and PEC Array (PECA) inspection services for clad tanks, spheres, piping systems, and other assets.
Pipework provides the arteries of any plant or vessel and our Remote Visual inspection services utilising a vast range of endoscopes, borescopes, CCTV and thermography to ascertain the condition of these subjects. Our teams can also deploy cleaning equipment to remove debris or foreign objects. Our NDT technicians can undertake a range of basic NDT methods to check welds and for wall loss on bends.
Contact our technical team for all enquiries. Our teams are here to help and ready to provide friendly advice on all aspects of inspection projects.
