From the early days of the industry, the company has been involved in deploying technicians to inspect gearboxes through to in-water surveys of the towers and cable pipework associated with these developments. We have technology for the inspection of all the key components.
Blades are found on a number of mechanical assets from aircraft engines, power station power plants, through to wind and sea turbines. We have some of the smallest fibrescopes, so that from the internal cooling holes, right up to the massive wind turbine blades, we have a range of options for internally and externally inspecting them.
Gearboxes come in many dimensions, from ones on ships, through to ones in aircraft or located on wind turbines. Our expertise in keyhole surgery means we have a wide range of instruments suitable for going into gearboxes and checking on their condition. We have been involved in inspecting wind turbine gearboxes since the initial installations were made 25 years ago.
Inspectahire provide full and complete inspections services including, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and technical support to our clients in the offshore wind farms sector throughout the UK. Our inspection technicians are fully qualified and experienced providing a professional and bespoke service.
Ultrasonic Testing is an NDT Service provided by Inspectahire across the UK. We have a variety of instruments suitable for checking the remaining metal thickness of subjects both above and below the water line. UT probes can be fittted to ROVs that go subsea or can be mounted on magnetic wheeled crawlers and driven up turbine structures.
