We are Hiring: Workshop Supervisor

 

We are an equal opportunities employer looking for a Workshop Supervisor to work as part of a team for the provision of company equipment to our technicians & external clients on a Full-time, permanent basis located in Aberdeen.

This role forms part of the Workshop and Warehouse team to undertake, preparation, packaging despatch, repair, service and overall management of company & client equipment.

Please be advised there will be manual handling of equipment transportation cases, and occasional travel involved with the role for training purposes.

Key responsibilities  

  • Take lead responsibility for Goods In / Goods out management for all equipment.
  • Supervisory role of workshop technician and supporting personnel within the workshop environment.
  • Manage and control the compliance of the company’s Stock Management System (WASP)
  • Prepare and maintain associated equipment maintenance records, manifests, commercial invoice, vendor & client records documentation in accordance with Inspectahire quality management system.
  • Ensuring the preparation, package & despatch of equipment is controlled and managed in accordance with the companies Operating procedures.
  • Good House Keeping.
  • To adhere to company policies and support the continual improvement measures and objectives.
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by line management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable.

Essential Skills

  • Clean U.K. Driving License (minimum 3 years)
  • Workshop Supervisor experience
  • Previous experience with stock control and management
  • Competent Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Packages
  • Good telephone manner & confidence to interface with clients.
  • Good communication skills to enhance working with colleagues as part of a small team.
  • Strong ability to work to deadlines, prioritising multiple tasks.

Desired Skills

  • Forklift Driving Certificate
  • PAT Tester Certificate
  • Experience of providing customer service in a technical environment.

Dependant on the individuals experience.

Full training on company processes and procedures will be given to the successful candidate.
